RNC Fights Back Against the DNC’s Mob Calls

This is brilliant:

WASHINGTON (CNN) — National Republicans turned the tables on their political counterparts Wednesday by redirecting angry telephone calls coming into their switchboard to the Democratic National Committee.

The DNC released a Web video early in the morning accusing the GOP of inciting mob activity at town hall meetings.

At the end of the video, the DNC instructs people to call the Republican National Committee to express outrage. Callers who dial the RNC’s main number to voice their concern about the DNC’s charges are told to press 1, which sends them to the DNC’s main switchboard.

no that’s actually in pretty poor taste and would make me absolutely furious at the DNC if they pulled something like this… people are trying to legitimately voice concerns and the RNC is creating a diversion. Same tactic as the mob mentality at these town halls. How old are we? Why can’t we have a civilized debate on the issue. Why can’t the RNC address these peoples concerns and poke serious holes in Obama’s plan? Only if people started forging letters from local chapters of the NAACP telling them to vote against cap & trade would we be stooping to a lower level. I’m embarrassed for the RNC.

I have such a problem with the DNC negating the protests of Americans who have concerns with certain policies and the administration overall.

I have not been contacted by the RNC or any group asking me to mobilize in opposition to healthcare reform but I will attend any town hall meeting that my member of congress holds. I called my member of congress a few days ago and was told that there were no town hall meetings scheduled. I wonder why?!

The President and members of congress believe that the past election and democrat wins were a mandate. They are right. It was a mandate, however, it wasn't the mandate they think it was. They are sorely mistaken to assume that they have been given a blank check.
