OH-15: Mary Jo Kilroy’s Health Care Tele-Town Hall, WEDNESDAY!

August 18, 2009 at 10:21 am Matt

kilroy1If you live in the 15th District, please register for Mary Jo Kilroy’s tele-town hall tomorrow and tell her that socialized health care is unacceptable.

Kilroy, a former activist for the Socialist Party, certainly won’t change her mind. But you can certainly make sure she pays a political price for supporting the government takeover of 15% of the private economy.

She will supposedly have a real town hall on Friday, or you can blow 2400 bucks to eat cheese squares with Mary and the daughter of the Governor who created the Ohio income tax, Kathleen Sebelius.

A former activist for the Socialist Party? I did not know that. Why do things like that — and I would say the same for a far-right organization member — not disqualify candidates in the eyes of voters?

You didn't know about her socialist ties because it was not widely reported by the MSM.
The factors that helped MJK win in 2008 will not help her in 2010. It was a good year for Ds and groups from across the country were here to help get out voters for D candidates. MJK should have won by a much larger margin, not by a mere 500+ votes.
In 2010, she won't have the benefit of activist groups driving support and the frustrated Rs/Independent voters who voted for her (or did not vote at all) will not be helping her next time around.

Thank you. I don't even like mentioning it because it sounds like a pejorative or an exaggeration, when I actually mean it quite literally.
