Is Jennifer Brunner’s Stolen Briefcase Story Real?

Who knows, but Jesse Hathaway is probably right to raise doubts.

The story does sound fishy, as if a campaign was unethical enough to break into an opponents office and steal something, what would be more interesting than the finance director’s laptop? It sounds like the perfect Watergate-style story to make up.

But stranger things have really happened. For example, Supreme Court Justice Terrence O’Donnell once had $18,000 IN CASH stolen out of his car.

And Jennifer’s spokesbabe Sandy Theis knows something about stolen briefcases and hard drives. Just ask Brett Buerck or Kyle Sisk.
