Connie Schultz Supports Charity That Isn’t Coerced?

Schuschultz2ltz took a week off from her job as an unregistered Federal lobbyist a defender of ObamaCare to talk about a warm-fuzzy story involving the donating of a book bag to an underprivileged child.  awwwwww

Hopefully Connie’s arugula-eating elitist fans follow in the footsteps of Laura Dennstedt, as liberals are not exactly known for their contributions to charity.

But remind me again, just how much does The Plain Dealer pay Connie Schultz to scan FaceBook to look for last-minute column ideas?:

That’s how Laura Dennstedt McNaughton was feeling last week. She grew up in Cleveland, and raised her four kids in Lakewood until moving seven years ago to Raleigh, N.C. Her youngest son graduated from high school last spring. For the first time in more than 20 years, no one needed her in that back-to-school mom kind of way.

That didn’t sit well with McNaughton.

Last Sunday morning, she posted this on Facebook: “This time of year I always feel like I should buy notebooks and crayons and protractors . . . oh my.”

Minutes later, Toni Coral, a schoolteacher near Detroit, responded: “You should donate a backpack to your local school. I’m sure the principal knows a kid who really needs it! LOL (poke) OMG”

I can’t believe Connie really lives in Avon, a city in which I’m related to perhaps 1/2 of the residents, including the Mayor. My goodness, I really hate Connie Schultz.
