It is rather amusing to hear Ted Strickland’s office talk about responsible budgeting. By “responsible,” does Spokesbabe Amanda mean: 1) plugging budget holes with incredibly optimistic projections about revenues that could be generated from various morons at slot machines in Ohio’s seven race tracks, 2) raising taxes with a so-called “freeze” on planned income tax reductions, or 3) Spending $7 billion in one-time Federal “stimulus” money, which burden the state with future spending mandates that will only further devastate Ohio’s economy?
