Ted Strickland Finally Creates a Job
And it’s for a 2009 electoral loser:
Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland has tapped former Dayton Mayor Rhine McLin to work on his re-election campaign.
McLin is working full-time and is charged with reaching out to elected officials in small communities across the state.
Strickland is running against former U.S. Rep. John Kasich in November.
“I’m honored to have Rhine McLin working on our campaign’s behalf,” Strickland said. “She understands the importance of providing opportunity to all Ohioans and laying the foundation for our state’s long-term economic growth and will be a fantastic advocate in the coming months.”
McLin’s relationship with Strickland extends back more than 20 years when he worked as a prison psychologist at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility.
McLin is a funderal director and embalmer at the McLin Funderal Home in Dayton… so she can bury the remains of Ted Strickland’s political career there in November.
