Strickland’s OBM & Zipcode 43233

January 7th, 2010 Matt Comments

From Watchdog.org:

All but 12 of the nation’s states have at least one phantom ZIP receiving stimulus money. California tops the nation with 22 invented codes. Ohio, however, tops the nation in cost. The Buckeye State’s Office of Budget and Management sent $220 million to improve infrastructure in the 43233 ZIP code, which does not exist according to the USPS ZIP Code locator.

Care to comment, Pari Sabety?

She would have been fired long ago back when her budget estimates were delayed and almost $2 billion off, but Ted Strickland would rather not alienate the lesbian pirate vote.

Ohio Stimulus Update

November 18th, 2009 Matt Comments

According to Lynn Walsh of the Buckeye Institute, not only do stimulus jobs cost more in Congressional districts controlled by Democrats, but jobs have been “saved or created” in districts that don’t exist.. such as District 00 or District 99.

But the question remains: In those pretend districts during the 2008 election, how many voters were “saved or created” by ACORN and company?

Sherrod Brown: “The Stimilus Package Was Not a Failure”

July 10th, 2009 Matt Comments off

From CNS News:

Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) told CNSNews.com that the stimulus was not a failure and that the real need was for the administration to spend the money faster.

“It means they need to speed it up a bit,” he said. “[And] do all we can to help create demand for autos and houses and everything else.”

In other words, Sherrod Browns is proud of Stimilus #1, but believes we need to prime that proverbial Keynesian pump faster! Print it, borrow it, and spend spend spend!

In related news, the Communist Party’s official newspaper writes glowingly about Sen. Brown’s hard work on socializing health care.
